News from Ningxia Development and Reform Commission indicated that the raw coal output of industrial companies above designated size in this province totaled about 14.85 million tons in the first two months of 2023, rising by 0.2% YOY. In particular, the output of ordinary bituminous coal declined by 0.7% YOY to around 13.87 million tons; that of coking coal went up by 17.1% YOY to 805,600t; that of anthracite coal rose by 12.3% YOY to 171,000t.

Meanwhile, raw coal sales of industrial companies above designated size in Ningxia declined by 34.2% YOY to around 8.52 million tons.

By the end of February, there were 2.39 million tons of raw coal stocks in Ningxia with 17 stockturn days.
