CISA: Major steel mills' average daily steel product output records 2.14Mt in mid-Mar

According to the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA), major Chinese steel mills produced about 21.37 million tonnes of steel products in the second ten-day period of March 2023, and the average daily output recorded about 2.14 million tonnes during this period, up by 5.54% from the first ten-day period of March.

In the second ten-day period of March 2023, steel product inventory held by major Chinese steel mills totaled about 18.96 million tonnes, up by about 1.25 million tonnes or 7.08% from the first ten-day period of March.
