Recently, Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, in conjunction with the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Department of Ecological Environment, issued the "Implementation Plan for Carbon Peak in Industrial Field of Henan Province". The Implementation Plan proposes that during the "14th Five-year Plan" period, the green development of the industry will reach the domestic advanced level, and the utilization efficiency of energy and resource will be significantly improved; by 2025, energy consumption per unit of industrial added value above designated size will decrease by 18% compared to 2020; by 2025, the output of electric furnace steel in the province will account for about 15% of crude steel total output.
