Data from Statistic Bureau of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region showed that, from January to February 2023, the output of crude steel, pig iron and steel products in Xinjiang recorded about 1,325,600t, 1,224,300t and 1,342,800t respectively, up by 12.9%, 12.4% and 3% YoY. The production of iron ore totaled about 1,224,800t, down by 49.4% YoY.

From January to February, the output of crude steel, pig iron and steel products of steel enterprises monitored by Xinjiang Iron and Steel Association recorded about 1,325,500t, 1,218,000t and 1,251,600t respectively, up by 9.83%, 9.58% and 6.1% YoY.
