The Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Republic of Korea announced on March 10 that, upon the application of domestic enterprises, it launched the third anti-dumping sunset review investigation on stainless steel plate originating in Japan. The dumping investigation period of this case is from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, and the injury investigation period is from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2022. During the investigation of the case, the current anti-dumping duty continues to be effective. Unless otherwise extended (up to four months), the Korea Trade Commission expects to make the final decision of sunset review within six months, and the Ministry of Strategy and Finance expects to decide whether to extend the duration of anti-dumping measures within 12 months.
