According to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), by the end of 2022 over the country, there have been 5.21 million charging piles and 1,973 battery switching stations built in total; in 2022, there were 2.593 million new charging piles and 675 new battery switching stations built, indicating that construction of power replenishing facilities is speeding up notably in China. Moreover, China has built over 10,000 power battery recycling service stations in the aggregate.
