Based on the data from China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), in December 2022, China generated 757,900GWh of electricity, up by 3% YoY. Specifically, China's thermal power generation increased by 1.3% YoY, and the growth rate edged down by 0.1 percentage points from the previous month, while the wind power generation and the solar power generation increased by 15.4% and 3.2% on a year-on-year basis, and the growth rate was 9.7 percentage points and 3.2 percentage points higher than the prior month respectively.
