According to the Report on the Work of Government issued by the government of Hebei on January 17th, Hebei optimized its energy mix in 2022 with newly-added installed renewable energy capacity of 14GW. In 2023, the province will conduct peak carbon dioxide emissions campaign in a planned and step-by-step manner, accelerate the adjustment of its new energy mix, boost clean and high-efficiency utilization of coal and increase installed renewable energy capacity by 10GW.
