Yingli Solar commences construction of 5GW N-type solar energy cell material industrial park project

On August 16, Yingli Solar held a construction commencing ceremony of 5GW N-type high-efficiency solar energy cell material industrial park project. With the total investment of RMB2.5 billion (USD369 million), the project is located in Mancheng Economic Development Zone of Baoding, covering an area of 337mu (22.47 hectares). The project would go into production gradually in the first quarter of 2023 as planned, and bring an annual production capacity of 5GW and an output value of RMB6.5 billion (USD0.96 billion) after it runs at full capacity.
