According to statistics from Manzhouli Customs, a total of 1.095 million tons of iron ore were imported through Manzhouli port in the first half of 2022, rising by 17% YOY and accounting for 75.9% of the total metal ore imports during the period; the iron ore import amount was RMB970 million (USD143.55 million), down by 4.5% YOY. In particular, the iron ore imports in June 2022 reached 241,000t with the import amount of RMB1.4 billion (USD207.19 million), rising by 47.1% and 31.5% YOY respectively.
