On August 8, Anhui Boamax Solar Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Suzhou Boamax Technologies Group Co., Ltd., held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new energy advanced manufacturing project, marking that Boamax Technologies heterojunction (HJT) cell and module project comes into construction officially.

The first phase of the project will produce 2 gigawatts of photovoltaic HJT cells and modules upon completion, with an investment of RMB1.68 billion (USD249 million).

With a total investment of RMB12.72 billion (USD1.88 billion), Anhui Boamax Solar Technology's new energy advanced intelligent manufacturing project is planned to build production lines of 18GW high-efficiency HJT cells and 8GW photovoltaic modules in three phases.
