The data released by the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China (GACC) on June 18 showed that, China exported 230,000 autos (including chassises) in May, up by 35.8% year on year; from January to May, a total of 1.07 million autos were exported, a cumulative year-on-year growth of 42.8%.

In particular, 173,000 passenger cars were exported, up by 40.7% year on year; from January to May, a total of 8.12 million passenger cars were exported, a cumulative increase of 50.9% year-on-year.
