According to data released by the World Bureau of Metals Statistics (WBMS) on May 18, 2022, the global tin market surplus was 700 tons from January to March 2022.

The reported refined tin production from January to March 2022 decreased by 12,000 tons from the same period in 2021, and the demand for tin in January to March 2022 was 87,000 tons, down by 10% year on year.

In March 2022, global refined tin production was 29,300 tons and consumption was 30,700 tons.
