Pol joined Lynas in October 2010 as Vice President Sales & Marketing. Prior to Joining Lynas he worked for Rhodia (since acquired by Solvay in 2011) as Diphenol Global Strategic Business Unit Director based in China. He managed all operations worldwide (six plants) of Rhodia Diphenol’s businesses, its R&D programs and he was accountable for cash generation, CFROI and business growth sustainability. During this period, strong cash flow was generated in spite of the global financial crisis, and heavy restructuring was undertaken along with implementing a cost-competitive plan for the subsequent three years.

Huizhong Yan is a professor Senior Engineer of Baotou Research Institute of Rare Earth and vice president of Tianjin Baogang Rare Earth Research Institute Co., Ltd. He is mainly engaged in research & development and application of rare earth hydrogen storage material, as well as application of development of high-abundance rare earth such as lanthanum and cerium. He has been in charge of 9 national topics including NSFC and international scientific and technological cooperation, as well as 4 autonomous region-level and city-level scientific research projects in recent years. He extends scientific research from material research to application by high-energy metal hydride-air cell research and development project in international cooperation project, aiming at meeting the demand for the extension of rare earth industrial chain. He has published more than 30 pieces of papers in learned periodicals both at home and abroad such as International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Materials Science and Engineering A, Journal of Rare Earths and Rare Earth; applied 13 patents at home and abroad, among which 7 have been authorized.
Baogang Rare Earth (Group) Oko Hydrogen Storing Alloy Company, Oko NI-MH Power Battery Company and Tianjiao Rare Earth Material Co., Ltd. cooperated and started new product research & development and industrialization project of hydrogen storage material, which promoted the development and industrial technology. Project achievements won Inner Mongolia Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement, Inner Mongolia Award for Natural Sciences, Baotou Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement, as well as Baogang (Group) Award for Scientific and Technological Advancement. In addition, he participated in national standard establishment of “Metal Hydride-AB5 Hydride Alloyed Powder for Nickel Battery Use” and won the second technical-standard award of China Rare Earth Technical Committee for Standardization.

Robert Mosig is a Geologist with over 30 years experience in platinum group metals, gold, diamond and scandium exploration.
Mr Mosig’s experience includes:- exploration using geology, geochemistry, geophysics and drilling; ore resource drilling and calculation; metallurgical and engineering evaluation; environmental and economic evaluations; mining and processing.
Mr Mosig is a founding Director of Platina Resources Limited since listing, and holds no other Directorships.

Hu Guhua is Chairman and party secretary of Chinalco Guangxi Non-ferrous Rare Earth Development Co., Ltd., a senior engineer with master degree, ICSED, national certified clean production (CP) assessor, vice-chairman of Guangxi Young Entrepreneur Council, vice-chairman of Guangxi Young Entrepreneurial Innovation Association, a safety-culture expert of State Administration of Work Safety (SAWS) and a member of Guangxi Safety Production Committee. Mr. Hu, started to work in July, 1995, has served as chief of Chinalco Guangxi Branch Safety and Environmental Protection Department, deputy manager, deputy director of general manager office (conducting work), director of general manager office, director of Coal-power-aluminum office, director of Mines Department, and vice president of Chinalco Guangxi Non-ferrous Rare Earth Development Co., Ltd. He won 4 First Prize awards of China Non-ferrous Metal Industrial Enterprise Management Modernization Achievement and 3 Second Prize awards, with 30 pieces of papers published.

Wei Liu, Master of Management in USTC, has worked in the industry of fund, security and futures for 10 years. He has held various positions including researcher in Southwest Futures Co., Ltd., researcher of non-ferrous metals sector in China International Fund Management Co., Ltd. He took part in Researching Department of UBS SDIC in April, 2011 for studying non-ferrous metals and mineral industries, and became the manager of upstream resources industry fund department in July, 2011.
Liu becomes unique in non-ferrous metal industry giving his intensive research and experience in investment and futures. He has studied rare earth industry for nearly seven or eight years.

Melvin Hill

Melvin Hill joined Aminco Resources in September of 2013. Established in 1986,Aminco Resources’ core focus is the supply of raw materials and complementary products to global primary industry.The principals of Aminco have over 50 years of combined experience in the global metal trade. Melvin has played a pivotal role in the development of the company’s rare earth trading desk.
Prior to joining Aminco Resources, Melvin worked with Asian Metal where he was initially the EMEA rare earth market analyst and then manager of Asian Metal’s UK office. Melvin is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where he double majored in Economics and Mandarin. He completed a year of post-graduate study at the Harbin Institute of Technology where he focused on Mandarin Language studies and applied natural resource economics.

Bo Yuan graduated from Northwestern Polytechnic University with EMBA degree in August, 2002. He started to work in Taiyuan Tianhe Advanced Tech Magnet Co., Ltd. in 1997 and hold the post of general manager of the company and vice-general manager of Tianjin Tianhe Magnet Tech Co., Ltd at present.
Mr. Yuan, as the main leader of Tianhe Magnets, has attached importance to brand construction of Tianhe, and paid attention to promotion of new products and technology. He led Taiyuan Tianhe research and development group to manufacture SmCo permanent magnets through Tianhe new technology in 2011, which has reached the international leading level.
