- On the morning of March 7, Mr. Friday Gao first visited GIG Lingang Industrial Co. and had a pleasant meeting with the Vice General Manager Mr. Zhenhua Tang. After Mr. Zhenhua Tang introduced their alumina refinery building plan progress in Guangxi and the corresponding imported bauxite purchase strategy, Mr. Friday Gao analyzed the global bauxite supply structure, especially the bauxite supply from Guinea, and reviewed China's bauxite import history briefly. In terms of the upcoming 14th Aluminum Raw Materials Summit on May 23-24 in Guangzhou, China, Mr. Tang hopes to attend the summit for more bauxite supply resources.

- Then Mr. Friday Gao visited Beibu Gulf Port Holdings Co., and met with Mr. Zhenqiang Qin, the Vice General Manager of Business Operation Center. Mr. Zhenqiang Qin expressed that their group has three ports, namely Fangcheng port, Qinzhou port and Beihai port. Because of the increased demand for imported bauxite in Guangxi, their bauxite handling volume increased quickly over the past three years. After Mr. Friday Gao introduced the newly-planned alumina projects in Guangxi and forecasted the demand increase for imported bauxite in south China in the coming two years, Mr. Zhenqiang Qin expressed his interest in the 14th Aluminum Raw Materials Summit to be held on May 23-24 in Guangzhou of China.
