- On the afternoon of October 13, Mr. Tony Yu, the Chief Representative of IB2 Bauxite in China, visited Asian Metal and had a meeting with Mr. Friday Gao, the Chief Consultant of Asian Metal.
- Mr. Tony Yu introduced their solutions of improving Al/Si by comprehensive using of low grade bauxite. He stressed that China needs to improve bauxite grade in the long term due to the tight high grade bauxite supply and IB2 Bauxite is ready to work with Chinese alumina refineries. Mr. Friday Gao analyzed the bauxite supply in Chinese local market and the growing demand for high grade bauxite, and then introduced the mainstream global bauxite supply and Chinese alumina market.
