Asian Metal visits Baotou Qitong Rare Earth, Wancheng New Material, Jinshan Magnetic and Xifeng Technology
- Aiming to learn about the development of rare earth industry and conduct field investigation on downstream demand, Eric Qiu, Senior Product Manager & Senior Analyst of Asian Metal, visited Baotou Qitong Rare Earth Co., Ltd., Baotou Wancheng New Material Co., Ltd., Baotou Jinshan Magnetic Material Co., Ltd. and Baotou Xifeng Technology Co., Ltd. During this period, Asian Metal discussed ceric ammonium nitrate, polishing powder, rare earth metal and NdFeB magnet development in depth with these companies mentioned above.
- On the morning of November 30, Eric Qiu from Asian Metal visited Baotou Qitong Rare Earth Co., Ltd. and had a talk with Zhao Feng, General Manager of the company. Mr. Zhao welcomed Eric Qiu warmly and said that the company mainly engages in production of ceric ammonium nitrate and polishing powder now. The two sides communicated about the market of raw materials for ceric ammonium nitrate and polishing powder, the product standards, major producers and major downstream consumption.

- After then, Eric Qiu visited Baotou Wancheng New Material Co., Ltd. and had a discussion with Ning Dongjie, Genergal Manager of the company. Mr. Ning introduced the construction status and development plans about Baotou Pulite New Material Co., Ltd., the newly co-built metal plant with Ji'an Xintai Technology Co., Ltd. The two parties discussed prices, supply, demand and production costs of PrNd mischmetal, cerium metal and LaCe mischmetal products in depth. Besides, Mr. Ning reported his experience and suggestion for the last rare earth summit. He said that he would try his best to support Asian Metal's 11th International Rare Earth Summit to be held in Qingdao on May 9-10.
- On the afternoon of November 30, Eric Qiu visited Baotou Jinshan Magnetic Material Co., Ltd. and had a discussion with Ren Jianyuan, the manager of Purchasing Department. Mr. Ren led a tour to kproduction lines of sintered NdFeB magnet. Then the two parties communicated about the price trend of NdFeB magnet, supply and demand changes, industry policies and the industry development. Mr. Ren spoke highly of the market investigation, AM price and report of Asain Metal, and expected to enhance the cooperation with Asian Metal and thus Asian Metal would offer suggestions and ideas for the company's supply, marketing and strategic development.

- At last, Eric Qiu visited Baotou Xifeng Technology Co., Ltd. and had a talk with Ren Zhijian, Wang Jie and Wang Haoling, Sales Managers of the company. The two sides discussed about rare earth oxide and metal markets. Mr. Ren and Wang reported their actual demand for Asian Metal's information service in order to expand business. They expected Asian Metal would provide useful help on business expand and market trend control.
