- On 3 December, 2018, Ms. Daphne Zhang, Consultant of magnesium industry & senior product manager from Asian Metal visited Advanced Material Japan Corporation, Shinwa Bussan Kaisha Ltd. and The Japan Magnesium Association, and was received warm welcome by the related companies.
- In the morning of 4 December, Ms. Daphne Zhang visited Advanced Material Japan Corporation, and had a meet with Mr. Kenji Murai, Speviaity Metals Team. Their annual trading volume of magnesium ingot is 2,000t, and mainly got orders on bidding. According to Kenji, owing to the rising prices in 2018, they only focused on back to back purchasing style. Advanced Material has been Asian Metal's member for many years and thinks highly of its objective, fair and timely information service. They would take part in the 8th Magnesium Summit 2019 on 11-12 April, 2019 in Zhuhai.

- Later, Ms. Daphne Zhang visited Shinwa Bussan, and met with Ms. Hong Feng, General Manager, Mr. Hirofumi Nakahara and Ms. Miwa Tanji. Shinwa's monthly trading volume of magnesium ingot is 40t, and only places orders as scheduled rather than build stocks in advance. They exchanged opinions of magnesium ingot market and Chinese environmental protection inspection policy in 2018. Shinwa Bussan has been Asian Metal's member for many years and thinks highly of its objective, fair and timely information service.
- In the afternoon of 4 December, Ms. Daphne visited The Japan Magnesium Association and met Mr. Hisashi Ohara, President of association. Accordingly, the annual consumption volume of magnesium ingot is 30,000t in Japan, 4,500t of magnesium alloy and 3,500t of magnesium powder. Commenting on the application and promotion of magnesium products, Mr. Hisashi Ohara looks good upon magnesium alloy. In addition, he shows intersts in the 8th Magnesium Summit 2019 on 11-12 April, 2019 in Zhuhai.
