- On November 6, 2018, Mr. Hao Zhao, Sales Director and Ms. Daphne Zhang, Consultant of magnesium industry from Asian Metal visited a number of magnesium production and trading companies, including Shanxi Bada Magnesium Co., Ltd. ("Bada Magnesium"), Xia County Pengjin Magnesium Co., Ltd. ("Pengjin Magnesium"), Xia County Jierun Magnesium Co., Ltd. ("Jierun Magnesium") and a few trading companies in Wenxi. Both sides held in-depth discussions and exchanged views on the current status and future market trend in the magnesium market.
- On the morning of November 6, the AM team first visited Bada Magnesium. They met and exchanged views with Bada Magnesium General Manager Mr. Liu Yingwei and General Manager Mr. Zhang Guangning from Shanxi Yanbixin Magnesium Co., Ltd. ("Yanbixin Magnesium") on 2018 environmental policies' impacts on magnesium supply-demand status. Both sides held that supply shortage could not be relieved within a short period of time and magnesium ingot prices were expected to remain stable on the whole. At present, Bada Magnesium runs at full capacity, maintaining a monthly output of 2,700t of magnesium ingot 99.95%min and 1,200t of magnesium alloy respectively. It receives orders steadily and is busy organizing production and deliveries for orders already signed. Both Bada Magnesium and Yanbixin Magnesium have been Asian Metal members for many years and think highly of its objective, fair and timely information service. Both managers also acknowledged the World Magnesium Forums that Asian Metal had organized in the past years, and revealed that their companies would take part in the next Eighth Forum to be held by Asian Metal in Zhuhai on April 11-12, 2019.

- On the afternoon of November 6, the AM team visited Pengjin Magnesium where they met and held discussions with its Sales Director Ms. Wang Qiong on environmental protection requirements from Shanxi environmental authorities as well as on operating rates of local magnesium plants. Pengjin Magnesium maintains a monthly output of 500t of magnesium ingot and can produce 300g and 200g varieties. In the current magnesium market demand is stable and spot supply is tight, and the company is busy in organizing production and deliveries for orders held in hand. The company also has been a long-term member of Asian Metal, and quite acknowledges AM's objective, fair and time information service.

- Afterwards, Zhao Hao and Daphne Zhang visited Jierun Magnesium where they met and held discussions with its vice General Manager Mr. Ning Jin and Sales Director Ms. Gao Huicen on the current supply-demand status of magnesium powder. Mr. Ning and Ms. Gao both showed strong enthusiasm in taking part in the Eighth World Magnesium Forum to be held by Asian Metal in Zhuhai on April 11-12, 2019.

The companies all showed strong interest in taking part in the Eighth World Magnesium Forum to be held by Asian Metal in Zhuhai on April 11-12, 2019.
