- Vivian Pang, rare earth market analyst of Asian Metal, visited Knowles Electronics Beijing office on January 14, and exchanged opinions on rare earth market with Mark Godish, Director of Global Purchasing, and Elaine Yu, Global Metal Commodity Manager for Knowles Electronics.

- Mark and Elaine paid much attention to the demand & supply and prices tendencies of neodymium and dysprosium. Vivian gave them a detailed introduction of current domestic Chinese markets for neodymium and dysprosium. According to Vivian, the majority of separation plants in China have halted production. Suppliers are in no hurry to reduce stocks of neodymium and dysprosium at current price levels now, and intend to hold wait-and-see attitudes towards the markets after the spring festival holiday. Mark expressed his highly appreciation to Asian Metal and disclosed that they sign contracts with their suppliers according to Asian Metal’s prices. Mark also conveyed that he will attend the 7th International Rare Earth Summit, which will be held on May 14-15, 2015 in Chongqing by Asian Metal, and he will be a speaker.
