According to Thai Customs, in October 2022 Thailand imported around 1.71 million tons of coal (including lignite), up by 15.3% from one year ago and up by 6.9% from last month. In particular, bitumite and anthracite imports were around 1.68 million tons, up by 15.1% YOY and up by 5.9% MOM.

In the first ten months of 2022, Thailand imported a total of 17.85 million tons of coal (including lignite), down by 13.4% from one year ago; in particular, bitumite and anthracite imports were around 17.66 million tons, down by 13.39% YOY.
