On November 17, Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the Review Comment of the Energy Bureau of Guangdong Province on Energy Saving Report of Dongguan BYD NEV Key Parts Project, agreeing with the Report in principle.

Located in Dahou Village, Xiegang Town, Dongguan, the project is implemented by Dongguan Fudi Power Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of BYD Company Limited. Its main construction items include high-voltage electrical, power supply, electronic control, motor, precision work, transmission unit, engine, precision equipment and other auto parts production lines. With a total area of about 696,000㎡, the whole investment of the project would be up to RMB6.5 billion (about USD909 million), and estimated annual output value would reach RMB17 billion(about USD2.38 billion).
