Inner Mongolia: New energy installed capacity exceeds 50GW in H1

Inner Mongolia implements the new energy doubling plan during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, and the region's new energy installed capacity exceeded 50 million kilowatts in the first half of this year, accelerating the pace of green energy structure transformation.

In the first half of this year, the total installed capacity of new energy in Inner Mongolia reached 56.53 million kilowatts, accounting for 36% of the total installed capacity of power sources in Inner Mongolia. In particular, the the cumulative installed capacity of wind power recorded 41.58 million kilowatts, accounting for 12.1% of that in the country, continuing to rank first in China; the cumulative installed capacity of solar power generation reported 14.5 million kilowatts, accounting for 4.3% of that in the country, ranking ninth in China; the total installed capacity of wind power and solar power in the region accounted for 8.3% of the national installed capacity of wind power and solar power.
