Tata Steel Europe Ltd. has announced ￡6 million investment to upgrade the Continuous Annealing Process Line (CAPL) at its Trostre plant in Llanelli with the latest cutting-edge technology. The company says the six-week upgrade to the tin-coated steel plate plant is the biggest single investment to date. The plant's CAPL mainly produces the raw material for tinplate and is the key processing line for the packaging steels operation at Trostre.
