China further extends tariff exemptions on some U.S. imported products

China will further extend tariff exemptions, which expires on June 30, for 124 goods imported from the United States until February 15, 2023, according to the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council, under the Ministry of Finance.

The extension was given to goods listed when China lifted tariffs imposed on U.S. goods as countermeasures against US Section 301.

The Customs Tariff Commission disclosed a list of the products, including rare earth minerals, kaolin clay and materials used in semiconductor manufacturing. This is the eighth time China has announced tariff exemptions on imported U.S. goods.
