Jiangsu Guotai International Group and the government of Zigong, Sichuan held a seminar & ceremony to sign an agreement for a 300,000tpy lithium-ion battery electrolyte project and a recycling project for 2,000t of solvent on June 21st in Zigong. According to the agreement, with a total investment of about RMB1.5 billion (USD223.64 million), the two projects will be located in Zigong Chuannan New Material Industrial Park and are expected to realize output values of RMB13.8 billion (USD2.06 billion) per year after going into production.
