Data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed that China produced 96.61 million tons of crude steel in May, down by 3.5% YoY while up by 4.1% MoM. The average daily output of the material is estimated at 3.116 million tons, up by 0.8% MoM. From January to May, the total crude steel output in China was 440 million tons, down by 8.7% YoY.
