On May 17, Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission issued the plan for circular economy development in Sichuan province during the 14th five-year plan period. According to the plan, the southwestern Chinese province aims to establish a modern circular industrial system by 2025 with significant improvement in clean production in key industries. By 2025, a resource recycling industry system will be basically established, with green and low-carbon production widely promoted.
