Guizhou Yuneng Mining Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hunan Yuneng New Energy Battery Material Co., Ltd., has been granted the mining licence for Huangjiapo phosphate mine from the Department of Natural Resources of Guizhou Province.

The mining license, which is valid until April 2034, allows the company to mine 1.2 million tonnes per annum of phosphate ore through underground mining method at Huangjiapo phosphate mine.

As of February 16, 2024, Huangjiapo phosphate mine held a total mineral resources of about 26.22 million (estimated elevation: +928.53m to +769.52m) within the exploration right, of which 1.19 million tonnes has been mined, with around 25.03 million tonnes of resources unexploited, including 10.90 million tonnes in Measured category, 2.22 million tonnes in Indicated category and 11.91 million tonnes in Inferred category.
