Henan Shenhuo Coal and Power Co., Ltd. produced 1.52 million tonnes and sold 1.53 million tonnes of of primary aluminum in 2023, down by 7.16% and 6.07% respectively from 2022, completing 94.88% and 95.45% of the annual production and sales guidance, according to the company's annual report.

The company's annual production of prebaked anode reached 544,900 tonnes in 2023, including 146,300 tonnes in Yongcheng and 398,600 tonnes in Xinjiang, up by 3.32% from 2022 and completing 102.42% of the annual guidance. The annual sales declined by 9.40% year on year to 529,400 tonnes, including 146,400 tonnes from Yongcheng and 383,000 tonnes from Xinjiang, with 99.51% of the guidance completed.

In 2023, the company produced 80,900 tonnes of aluminum foil, including 52,600 tonnes in Shangqiu and 28,300 tonnes in Shanghai, and sold 81,900 tonnes of aluminum foil, including 52,200 tonnes from Shangqiu and 29,600 tonnes from Shanghai. The annual production and sales declined by 0.76% and 1.78% respectively from 2022 but exceeded their respective annual guidance by 3.69% and 5.01%.

As of December 31, 2023, Henan Shenhuo had production capacities of 1.7 million tonnes per annum (tpa) of primary aluminum (800,000tpa in Xinjiang and 900,000tpa in Yunnan), 560,000tpa of prebaked anode (with 400,000tpa under construction in Yunnan), and 80,000tpa of aluminum foil and 150,000tpa of aluminum foil blank.
