Chongqing Boao Magnesium Aluminum Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Baowu Magnesium, has entered into a cooperation agreement with an unnamed auto manufacturer on the development of super-large Mg-Al alloy integrated die castings, in order to further reduce the weight of large-sized automotive castings. When put into use, the product would significantly increase magnesium consumption per vehicle.
