In the first two months of 2024, China produced 140.73 million tonnes of pig iron, down by 0.6% YoY, 167.96 million tonnes of crude steel, up by 1.6% YoY, and 213.43 million tonnes of steel products, up by 7.9% YoY, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics.
