The tantalum and niobium industrial park at Yanling High-Tech Zone now has an annual production value of nearly 1.2 billion yuan (166 million US dollars), accounting for more than 65% of the total tantalum and niobium industrial production in China.

To date, Yanling county is home to more than ten tantalum and niobium companies, including Jincheng Tantalum & Niobium Co., Ltd. which produces nearly 600 tonnes per annum of tantalum and niobium products with annual production value reaching 500 million yuan (69.65 million US dollars), accounting for one third of the industry share in China.
