On January 26, DMEGC announced that it plans to invest RMB1.83 billion (USD0.29 billion) into constructing a 6GWh high-performance Li-battery project, invest RMB1.12 billion (USD0.18 billion) into constructing a high-efficiency integrated inductance project, and invest RMB513 million (USD80.85 million) in constructing a 15,000tpy soft magnetic ferrite project; its controlled subsidiary Jiangsu Dongci New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. plans to invest RMB339 million (USD53.42 million) into constructing a 2.5GW high-efficiency modes project; and DMEGC also plans to invest RMB124 million (USD19.54 million) to form a new joint venture for a 22,000tpy permanent magnetic ferrite project.
