The latest data released by Mongolia's General Administration of Customs showed that from January to September 2021, Mongolia exported 5,947.7kt of iron ore (and concentrate), down by 304.9kt or 4.88% year on year. The export value amounted to $848 million, a year-on-year increase of 82.99%. From January to September, China was the only destination for Mongolia's iron ore exports.
