Shenhuo Coal & Power announced that due to the tight power supply, Yunnan Power Grid Co., Ltd. has implemented orderly power supply for primary aluminum enterprises in Yunnan since May 10, 2021. The total power supply load of the company's holding subsidiary Yunnan Shenhuo Aluminum Co., Ltd. has been greatly reduced. The subsidiary was forced to shut down 200,000 tons of capacity successively, and the capacity in production was reduced to 550,000 tons. The 150,000 tons of capacity in the third stage of the second series also failed to start as scheduled.
