On September 16, 2021, the European Commission announced that it would make the first affirmative final determination of sunset review of anti-dumping on stainless steel cold-rolled flat products originating in China and Taiwan region, and decided to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on enterprises involved in the case in China and Taiwan region: the dumping rate of Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd and and Tianjin TISCO & TPCO Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. was 24.4%; that of four cooperative enterprises: Lianzhong Stainless Steel Corporation (Guangzhou), Ningbo Qiyi Metal Co., Ltd, Tianjin Lianfa Precision Steel Corporation and Jiangsu Zhangjiagang Pohang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. was 24.6% and that of other enterprises was 25.3%; that of Chia Far Industrial Factory Co., Ltd. was 0 and that of other enterprises in Taiwan region was 6.8%. The CN codes of products involved are 7219 31 00, 7219 32 10, 7219 32 90, 7219 33 10, 7219 33 90, 7219 34 10, 7219 34 90, 7219 35 10, 7219 35 90, 7219 90 20, 7219 90 80, 7220 20 21, 7220 20 29, 7220 20 41, 7220 20 20 49, 7220 20 20 81, 7220 20 20 89, 7220 90 20 and 7220 90 80. The dumping investigation period of this case is from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, and the damage analysis period is from July 1, 2017 to the end of the dumping investigation. The announcement shall take effect from the next day after its promulgation.

On June 26, 2014, the EU filed an anti-dumping investigation on stainless steel cold-rolled flat products originating in China and Taiwan region. On August 27, 2015, the EU made a final anti-dumping decision on stainless steel cold-rolled flat products originating in China and Taiwan region. On August 25, 2020, the European Commission announced that it would launch the first anti-dumping sunset review investigation on stainless steel cold-rolled flat products originating in China and Taiwan region, in response to the application submitted by the European Steel Association on May 27, 2020.
