Tongwei Shares announced that the company intends to publicly issue convertible bonds of no more than RMB12 billion (USD1.86 billion). After deducting the issuance costs, the raised funds are planned to be used in the photovoltaic silicon material manufacturing technological transformation project (high-purity crystalline silicon of the second phase of the project), and the photovoltaic silicon material manufacturing project (50,000t of high-purity crystalline silicon the second phase of the project), 15GW single crystal rod-cutting project and supplementary working capital.
