SPIC Huanghe Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. announced on April 11 that the world's first photovoltaic and energy storage outdoor empirical experimental platform built by the company officially started construction in Daqing, Heilongjiang.

The platform has a total investment of approximately RMB6 billion (USD928.53 million), and it plans to conduct empirical experiments with approximately 640 solutions. It will set up four empirical experimental areas for photovoltaic modules, inverters, brackets, and energy storage products, and two empirical experimental areas for energy storage systems and equipment matching. The scale is about 1.05 million kilowatts.
