On 9 April, Liyang major projects construction commencement event for April 2021 and the construction commencement ceremony for Jiangsu Delong high-end stainless steel cold-rolling project were held in Zhongguancun Hi-tech Zone of Jiangsu. 20 over-50-million industry projects with a total investment of about RMB24.61 billion (USD3.75 billion) started construction together.

Planning to construct workshops of 750,000 square meters, Jiangsu Delong high-end stainless steel cold-rolling project with a designed annual production capacity of 5 million tons will be mainly engaged in production of high-performance cold-rolled stainless steel sheet. After completion, the project will be the largest high-end stainless steel cold-rolling production line in the world.
