In late March, the social inventory of five major steel products in 20 cities reached 16.21 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 1.07 million tons or 6.2%, after a decline in mid-Mar; a decrease of 740,000 tons or 4.4% from late February; an increase of 8.91 million or 122.1% from early this year; a decrease of 2.85 million tons or 15.0% compared with the same period last year.
