On 27 March, Nanjing Iron and Steel released its 2020 annual report. In the reporting period, the company produced about 11.58 million tons of crude steel, 10.42 million tons of pig iron and 10.21 million tons of steel products, up by 5.58%, 5.20% and 2.87% respectively compared to the same period of the previous year. In addition, the company sold about 10.19 million tons of steel, up by 259,000 tons year on year.

In 2021, the company plans to produce 12.2 million tons of crude steel, 10.8 million tons of pig iron and 10.6 million tons of steel products.
