According to the data released by China Iron & Steel Association (CISA) on 24 January, major steel mills produced a total of approximately 22.18 million tons of crude steel in mid-January 2021. The average daily crude steel output was about 2.22 million tons, up by 1.02% month on month and up by 12.33% year on year.
