According to the announcement made by JinkoSolar, the company signed an investment contract with Huaneng Jiangxi and Fengcheng government of Jiangxi Province on 21 January, 2021. With an estimated total investment of about RMB8.8 billion (USD1.36 billion), JinkoSolar and Huaneng Jiangxi will develop the 2GW photovoltaic power station project together in Fengcheng, Jiangxi. As agreed in the agreement, the project will be constructed in four phases and is expected to be totally completely and put into commercial production by 2025, with an annual electricity charge income of approximately RMB828 million (USD128 million).
