Guangdong Jingyi Metal Co., Ltd. (JIEA) announced on January 21 that it, jointly with its subsidiaries and sub-subsidiaries included in consolidated statements, entered into a framework purchase agreement with Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group Shanghai International Trade Ltd. (Tongling Trade) on January 19. According to the agreement, which is valid from January 15, 2021 to January 15, 2022, JIEA plans to purchase 25,000t of copper cathode from Tongling Trade. The purchase value is not agreed and is subject to the final purchase and sales contract signed between the two sides.

JIEA said that the signing of the agreement would ensure upstream resource supply as well as stable supply to downstream clients.
