The city will accelerate the step of its steel industry towards high-level industry chains and value chains, give full play to the leading role of Ansteel, establish a metallurgy industry group and strengthen steel industry chains.

Meanwhile, Anshan will also improve the dominating position of magnesite industry, promote the mixed-ownership reform of China Baowu and Haicheng Magnesite, speed up the development of magnesite industry transformation and upgrading pilot zone in Pailou, Haicheng and boost the integration of magnesite resources and the extension of the industry chains.
