On January 18, Thinkon Semiconductor Jinzhou Corp. completed the production of 8-inch semiconductor silicon polished wafer.

After completing construction and starting production, the 8-inch semiconductor silicon wafer project of Thinkon Semiconductor will have an annual capacity of 1.8 million pieces of semiconductor silicon wafer, which could strengthen the weak link of inadequate supply of semiconductor silicon wafer in China, reduce the dependency on imported high-quality silicon wafer, assist downstream enterprises to cut production cost, enhance industrial competitiveness and further meet the demand on basic materials of integrated circuit industry in China.
