The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced on January 15 that in order to regulate the production and operation of rare earth mining, smelting and separation in accordance with the law, to develop and utilize rare earth resources in an orderly manner, and to promote the high-quality development of the rare earth industry, MIIT drew up the Regulations on Rare Earth Management (exposure draft) to ask for public opinions.
