In order to prevent and control the spread of the second-wave of COVID-19, Zimbabwean government tightened up lockdown measures from January 2 and would extend curfew hours, close commercial facilities and limit people going out in the coming 30 days. From January 5, all industries excluding enterprises in mining, manufacturing, agriculture and other industries in Zimbabwe should suspend production for 30 days.
