On 24 December, CVTE announced that the board approved to construct "CVTE intelligent manufacturing and pilot scale base project" with its own funds or self-raised funds of approximately RMB2 billion (USD0.31 billion) for pilot scale research of display control products, research and production of electronic display new materials and new processes as well as construction of intelligent demonstration lines of intelligent main control board, interactive intelligent panel and other products, and authorized the management of the company to sign the "CVTE intelligent manufacturing and pilot scale base product investment and cooperation agreement" with Investment Promotion Bureau of Guangzhou Development District in the following days.
